Retro Gaming For Charity

The Spriters Resource will be running a charity fundraiser on Friday 6 th January, 2012 to raise money for the games based charity GamesAid by hosting a 24 hour long retro gaming session, hosted by the admin of the site, Daniel “Dazz” Brown,  and joined by close friend Gregory “Shandfred” Seago-Curl.

The event will be streaming from the front page of http://www.spriters-resource.com from 9am Friday, until 9am Saturday, until their minds become pixels and their voices sound old-school. The stream will show both the gameplay and their game-faces, and will have full commentary from the duo. A chat will be available, and all the while you can donate using their Just Giving page.

A list of some of the games to be possibly be featured has been provided on the fundraiser site, and donations have already gone underway! All details can be found on:

http://gameathon.spriters-resource.com and donations can be made by using the giant donate button.

A number of prizes will go out to those who donate on the day, with a chance to win for each £2 a person donates! Prizes include a huge bundle of games for a variety of consoles – so get ready to donate your backsides off and have a great retro day!
