Riot Games announced today, August 22, the arrival of the 1st Brazilian League of Legends Championship, the world's most played Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA). The four qualifying events will be taking place in September and the winners of each round will be automatically guaranteed a place in the final to be held between October 11th and 14th , at the largest Game Show in Brazil, Brasil Game Show (BGS), in São Paulo. The prize for the best teams, which will be the largest ever paid in the history of E-Sports in Brazil, will be $80,000. The remaining places will be defined through the national rankings.
The competition is open to any player with an interest in attending the event, but there are a few rules that should be followed. Among them:
?- Only Brazilian teams can participate (each team should have at least 3 Brazilians playing the matches);
- All members of the team should have at least 16 Champions in their account;
- The teams may appoint up to 2 reserve players for the championship.

QUALIFYING THROUGH THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Teams that fall between the 2nd and 8th positions of each qualifying round will receive points for the Brazilian rankings. The four teams with the best placement at the end of the qualifying events will also be guaranteed a place in the final.
Score of each qualifying round:
• 2nd: 200 points in the Rankings
• 3rd: 125 points in the Rankings
• 4th: 75 points in the Rankings
• 5th to 8th: 50 points in the Rankings
The distribution of cash prizes will occur in the qualifying rounds and the final. The four winners of each round will receive $5,000 in cash. The four teams qualifying by the national score rankings will receive $2,500.
Prizes of the final rankings (after the 4 qualifying rounds):
• 1st Place in the Rankings: Place in the final + $2,500
• 2nd Place in the Rankings: Place in the final + $2,500
• 3rd Place in the Rankings: Place in the final + $2,500
• 4th Place in the Rankings: Place in the final + $2,500

• 2nd Place -$12,500
• 3rd Place - $7,500
