San Francisco - For Immediate Release - A Virus Named TOM gets an art overhaul.

The new Action-Puzzler, A Virus Named TOM gets a brand new look, with a Jetsons style world on the outside, and a Tron inspired circuit world on the inside. The new art sets the tone for a humorously dark, yet quirky game of skill and brainpower. Today we have four new images to infect you with, and an awesome Alpha gameplay video. Currently AVNT is in development for multi platform release sometime in late 2011 or early 2012.

About A Virus Named TOM

An Infectious Action-Puzzler

4 Player Cooperative & Competitive Play

Evolving Puzzle and Dexterity Mechanics

Dr X brought the world the city of Tomorrow: with robot dogs, and houses that clean themselves. MegaTech promptly fired him as soon as the last chrome brick was laid (old scientist don't fit the "brand" of the City of Tomorrow). But Dr X has one final invention for MegaTech, a little virus named Tom (that's you!). Go forth, infect, cause mayhem... destroy tomorrow, today!

An Action-puzzler. The puzzle comes from rearrange circuits to spread the virus. The Action comes from dodging anti-virus drones while doing it. It’s one of the few puzzle games out there where you can play co-operatively (with up to 3 friends). But if you tire of working together, there is a battle mode where you can take on your friends to see who is the supreme virus.
