Scaleform GFx Brings Touch of Flash to Transformers™: War for Cybertron

GREENBELT, MD– Aug 31, 2010– Scaleform ® Corporation (Scaleform), the leading provider of Flash ® -based middleware and user interface (UI) solutions for the videogame and consumer electronic industries, today announced that High Moon Studios, a subsidiary of Activision Publishing, Inc., used Scaleform GFx to speed the development of high-performance UI designs in the recently launched Xbox 360 ® , PlayStation ® 3 and PC versions of Transformers TM : War for Cybertron.

Activision’s high action game is the latest title in the popular TRANSFORMERS franchise, based on the iconic Hasbro brand, and the first TRANSFORMERS game developed by High Moon Studios. The third-person shooter features a range of weapons to shoot and vehicles to control, as well as two separate campaigns and deep, multiplayer game modes. The game has received high praise from industry critics for its fast paced action, versatile game play and stunning graphics.

To speed the design and development of interfaces, heads-up displays (HUDs) and menus in the latest title, High Moon Studios’ development team turned to Scaleform’s hardware-accelerated, patent-pending vector graphics technology, Scaleform GFx.
