Serious Game Expo 2011 unveils its official programme

Lyon, 19th October 2011 - A date for your diaries: the 7th edition of the Serious Game Expo is on its way. The show will open its doors in Lyon on November 21st, 2011. The 2011 edition is all about the new: over the one and a half days of the show visitors will meet other professionals and take part in a variety of specialised themed conferences.

Organised by Imaginove, the industry association that brings together competitors from across the Rhone-Alpes region, along with its partners, the event today revealed its programme for 2011.

‘Serious games’ will be celebrated for the 7th consecutive year. Revolutionary tools in numerous professional domains such as health, teaching, training and even marketing and communication will once again this year constitute an explosive cocktail of technology and innovation. Close to a thousand visitors, joined by renowned European experts, will meet at the event which will be packed full of conferences and demonstrations.

Keynotes: the future of training and communication brought to you by serious games

One of the keynotes at 2.30pm on Monday afternoon will be delivered by Stéphane Diebold, director of TEMNA and Vice-President of GARF. The audience will have the opportunity to consider and discuss the future of training in serious games over the next five years in the context of how training empowers everyone to be master of their own destiny in the jobs market.

A second comprehensive conference geared towards serious games in the domain of marketing and communication will set the pace on Tuesday November 22nd.

A series of conferences to help you find the ace solution for your serious game

A total of 26 themed conferences will be available between 2pm-6pm on Monday November 21st and from 9am to 6pm on Tuesday November 22nd. Buyers and service providers will also present their solutions and share their experiences live from the show.

In addition, leading businesses including Suez Environnement, Valinox, Renault Trucks and Mediapost will swell the ranks of the show in their role as partners, alongside 50 French and international serious games experts from Daesign, GNFA, Qoveo, Interaction Games, Symetrix, Succubus Interactive and many more.
