Seth Iorio Joins the Management Board of  Gameforge AG as New COO

Karlsruhe, Germany - Oct. 10, 2011 - Gameforge AG, Europe's leading provider of online games, has appointed Seth Iorio to their management board as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Starting immediately, Iorio will belong to the management boards of both companies, and be instrumental in expediting the integration of both. In his new position at Gameforge, Iorio is responsible for human resources, community management, customer care and localisation.

"He has proven himself over many years, most recently at Frogster. It is good to have him back in a key position at Gameforge and I look forward to the role he is going to play in our expanding enterprise."

Until September 2010, Iorio was Vice President of Business Development at Gameforge. In October 2010, he switched over as executive director to Berlin subsidiary Frogster where he has held the position of COO since January 2011. Gameforge acquired the majority of shares of Frogster Interactive Pictures AG in 2010. A profit transfer and control agreement between the two companies went into effect on August 29, 2011.

A business school graduate with many years of experience in the field of online games and Information Technlogy (IT), Iorio acted as an authorized signatory and vice president of Business Development at Gameforge and was responsible for business-critical areas such as customer communications, marketing, localization and human resources. In 2000, he founded Rabbit Software AG and managed it as CTO. Before joining Gameforge, Iorio also worked as an IT consultant for United Internet AG.
