The game development team at Metaversal Studios is excited to announce the latest update to the iOS version of Shave Me!, the chart-topping Entertainment app that saw over a million downloads last month alone.
The update to Version 4.0 boasts a range of new features and options but the most notable change to the app is that the Shaving Kit Upgrade, previously a $0.99 in-app purchase to unlock additional tools, is now included with the free app download. Users can now purchase a $0.99 upgrade that removes in-game ads if desired. The move to make the Shaving Kit tools free coincides with the release of the latest iOS game by Metaversal Studios, Bad Apples: Battle Harvest, now available in the App Store.
In addition to the newly free Shaving Kit tools, Shave Me! 4.0 introduces the ability to change the color of blood that appears as an optional part of the game. Four new skin type choices have been added to the original set of four; the options for hair color have been similarly upgraded, adding four new choices to the original four options. The new hair, skin and blood options let players express more creativity, adding zombie-like skin and pink hair, among other additions.
Shave Me! also now contains a Statistics page in-game where users can track metrics like how long they’ve played, how many hairs they’ve shaved and how much blood they’ve spilled. Users are also now encouraged to share their own“ Shave Me! masterpieces” to Facebook, Twitter and other services without leaving the app thanks to a newly added‘Share your Creation!’ button.
Shave Me! is a free universal app for download in the iTunes App Store for iOS devices, and is available in Google’s Android Market for Android 2.0 devices as well. The update to the Android OS version is scheduled to release shortly.
