Sierra Entertainment Unveils Special Pre-Order Bonus Program For World In Conflict

Reading, UK (June 11, 2007)– Sierra Entertainment, a division of Vivendi Games, today announced a pre-order bonus program for the upcoming action-strategy PC game, World in Conflict, by Massive Entertainment. Beginning 22nd June, gamers that pre-order World in Conflict from GAME stores will receive several items including a bonus DVD from The History Channel®, access to a Beta event, bonus multiplayer maps, and special multiplayer account privileges. World in Conflict will be available in September 2007.

World in Conflict is the highly anticipated action-strategy game from Sierra’s own Massive Entertainment that asks the terrifying question, what if the cold war didn’t end? The game represents the next-generation of strategy games, pitting Cold War-era superpowers against one another with completely destructible 3D battlefields, blistering visual utilising DX10 technology, and an innovative gameplay mechanism, removing traditional resource-gathering and base-building in favour of non-stop combat, tactical decisions and an FPS-like addiction to intense action.

“World in Conflict marks a great step forward for the strategy genre, effectively blurring the lines between strategy, action and first-person-shooter,” said Cindy Cook, chief marketing and strategy officer for Vivendi Games.“The pre-order campaign offers fans the exclusive chance to grab extra maps and materials that would make any game fan or cold war aficionado excited. With its exciting gameplay and amazing technology -- if there’s one strategy game to try this year, it’s World in Conflict.”

The World in Conflict UK pre-order bonus program includes:
