“My wife and I have been a big fan of what Child’s Play has become and wanted to do something good to help. It’s such a small thing to ask someone to chip in two dollars just to buy some games and toys for kids, but it really does make such a big difference in their lives.” said Ronald Diemicke, Owner and Executive Editor of SlpeerHit.“I can only imagine what it must be like to watch a sick child’s face light up with an new toy or game at Christmas time– and its empowering to know that you have the power to make a difference.”

SleeperHit.Net, based out of Hanover,PA, is a small independent news outlet for video game commentary. The startup began in July of 2009 as a way for writers to break out of the common mold of rehashing the same news and stories and with a focus on independent reporting, commentary and feature length articles. SleeperHit’s goal is to be very reader centric with a focus on the best user experience with as little bias as possible; to this end, it features no games industry advertising. If you are a game publisher, developer, or a PR agency representing one of the former and would like to get your game reviewed, please e-mail RonaldD@sleeperhit.net to get it slated on the review schedule.
About Child's Play: Child's Play is a non-profit organization begun in 2003 by Mike "Gabe" Krahulik and Jerry "Tycho" Holkins, the creators of the Penny Arcade comic strip, as a way to help sick children and show the world the softer side of people who play videogames. Through the generosity of gamers and the videogame industry, Child's Play has raised nearly four million dollars in toys, games and cash for sick children through an ongoing online toy drive and annual charity auction. Now in its sixth year, Child's Play has developed a worldwide network of beneficiary Children's Hospitals in order to brighten hospital stays for children internationally.
