Smack Down Productions to become SDP Games !

Laurent Benadiba, C.E.O, declares:

“I’m delighted to announce a couple of hours before E3 the rebranding of the company to SDP Games. This move reveals increased attention to our players, the creation of 4 different logos across our platforms and player range as well as an enhanced focus on the quality of our productions.

The company has recently created an internal team dedicated to its own productions on the Online and Console spaces. SDP Games will work even harder on making better games for publishers on the retail and dematerialized markets.

The release of our first self-published production in 2011 will set the quality level for our next games and define the roadmap for our future. More details to come…”

About SDP Games

SDP Games is an award-winning game developer founded in 2005 by Laurent Benadiba in Lyon, France. Our initial mission was to collaborate on the game“L.A Noire”.

We then became a full game developer with an obsession: make high-quality games for the entire family on all platforms, with now a specialty on Microsoft Kinect™ and Nintendo 3DS™. We use a proven production process based on iterations and client involvement from day 1.

Recently, we have developed Dance Paradise for THQ, Mindscape and Microsoft Kinect™’s European Launch, Sherlock Holmes, Pucca Noodle Rush for prestigious publishers.

SDP Games will release 3 games in 2011 for world-class publishers, one Microsoft Kinect™ game and two Nintendo 3DS™ games, where having fun and maximizing quality is the main focus. An unannounced self-published project will also be released soon.

Our strategy for the future is to increase substantially the quality of our productions and address an even larger audience. On all platforms.

Our new website is coming soon, keep an eye on it J
