Space Pirates from Tomorrow returns to Xbox LIVE Marketplace

MStar Games are pleased announce that Xbox LIVE Indie Game "Space Pirates from Tomorrow" has returned to Xbox LIVE Marketplace, following extensive work on the game following a troubled launch. DrMistry comes clean about the problems the title faced. "No point trying to dodge the flack, we screwed up. We didn't consider enough testing scenarios, we underestimated the value of some early feedback, and frankly the game just didn't work for some people who not only downloaded the demo, but paid for the complete game. But after we pulled the game from the marketplace last month we got a huge amount of support and feedback, and we've implemented as much of that feedback as we could. The game's much more accessible, more robust, and while we know we're not going to have the hit we'd hope for, we're convinced pulling the game was the right thing to do. Unfortunately we've missed out on New Release exposure, so the chances of getting on to the Top Downloads or Top Rated lists on the dashboard - both of which areessential for sales - are pretty slim. But I stand by the game, despite the problems and heartache. Even at this late stage, newcomers to the game are telling us it's an awesome, huge and enjoyable game."

Fixes and updates to the game include flight control customisation, improved startup time for players with network-based media libraries, improved game stability, improved tutorials and better spaceflight dynamics, and even display options for colourblind players. Users who have already downloaded the game will be informed of the updated version when starting the game.

Space Pirates from Tomorrow revisits the classic trading and combat space sim genre, offering players a huge game universe to explore featuring 9,000 star systems, infinite combat and missions, infinite trading and dynamic gameplay. The game is now available again for 240 Microsoft Points, with a time and feature limited free demo also available to all Xbox Live Gold members. More information on the game is available at
