Here's the info again for Budz:

Griffilms, the creators of the chart topping App, Space Wolves, have just released a game which also teaches the basic principles of music.

The BUDZ app contains games which develop the essential skills needed to play music,  namely co-ordination, timing and memory. Then the “BUDZ TUNES” section brings these skills together with actual music.

“The BUDZ characters pop up and play a tune and the object of the game is to copy what the BUDZ do and before long you are playing a real tune. The colourful BUDZ music keys are an actual octave of notes arranged in the same way as on a piano keyboard. It’s a great way to get kids into playing the piano.” said Hywel Griffith Director of Griffilms. “BUDZ is a fun way for kids to learn how to play a keyboard without it seeming like they are actually learning”

In 2011 Griffilms created “Cerrig Peryg” the first ever iPhone game in the Welsh language and hope to bring out a Welsh version of BUDZ in the near future.

Griffilms Animation Studio first opened it’s doors in 1992 when it created the animation for TV shows like Tony Hart’s “TAKE HART”, on BBC1. Since then Griffilms have created hours of television including a feature film based on the legend of Gelert.

“Great original ideas are the most important thing and that’s what we do; we innovate”.

Above all BUDZ is a fun game, and Griffilms hope the app will help inspire the next child pianist prodigy. BUDZ for Apple devices is available for free and can be found on the Apple App store:  www.appstore.com/budz (iPhone) and  www.appstore.com/budzhd (iPad)
