Starch Studio Releases Bug-O-Rama for the iPad

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DELAWARE, OH – March 30, 2013 – Starch Studio announced today that Bug-O-Rama is now available exclusively for the iPad. Bug-O-Rama is an addictive, fast-paced, bug bashing game for players of all ages.

In Bug-O-Rama, “exterminators” play one-minute rounds, during which they try to rid a room of as many creepy crawlers as possible. Players can squash the bugs with their fingers, blast them with a bug bomb, release a potent bug spray, or obliterate them with a huge bug swatter. As each room is cleared, another room is unlocked and a new species of bug appears. Once the bugs in all of the rooms have been eradicated, players must take on the dreaded Queen Bug!

“We are very excited about this game release,” said Stacie Archer, founder of Starch Studio. “When we started conceptualizing this game, we wanted to create something that felt like Angry Birds meets the Ramones. The custom music recorded for this game really adds to that experience.” Archer also added, “We didn’t want the players to simply squash the bugs. We wanted to give them an arsenal of cool weapons to use as well.”

Bug-O-Rama is now available for $1.99 in the U.S., and is priced accordingly in other regions worldwide. Bug-O-Rama is available through the Apple App Store and Starch Studio’s website: www.starchstudio.com

Starch Studio is a small, independent, interactive studio located in Delaware, Ohio. Archer founded the company in 2002 to design and develop creative interactive projects for local and national clients. Bug-O-Rama represents the company’s first leap into the world of mobile gaming.
