NEW HAVEN, Connecticut– April 5, 2010– Stone Creek Entertainment, a publisher of video games focused on teen girls and young women, today announced the launch of its second title, Her Pet Peeves™ by Seventeen™, for iPhone and iPod Touch. Her Pet Peeves by Seventeen™ is now available in the iTunes store for $1.99 under the‘Karizmac’ brand and offers teen girls hours of fun popping the things that annoy and frustrate them the most.
“We've partnered with Seventeen to bring a widely known and respected brand together with our first title that we believe will resonate with their core audience,” said Sharon Wood, CEO of Stone Creek Entertainment.“Her Pet Peeves by Seventeen has a feature where you can import pictures of the things that are bothering you into the game and they become the targets you need to pop. It’s a great opportunity for creativity and self expression in a game.”
“Teen girls love to play games and they are one of the fastest growing demographics of iPhone and iPod Touch users,” said Ann Shoket, editor-in-chief of Seventeen.“We’re thrilled to be able to give them Seventeen games to play wherever they are.”
Her Pet Peeves by Seventeen lets teen girls pop bubbles that represent the things that annoy and frustrate them the most. The goal is to burst what’s bugging you, before time runs out. Cartoon-style animals are in the bubbles, bouncing around the screen, and they represent stereotypical individuals and the annoying things they do and say.
- There are nine different animal challenges, with two Bonus animal challenges.
- Each animal challenge has six levels of difficulty.
- Each animal challenge has a unique random bonus“annoyance” item
- My Peeve: girls can import their personal peeves into the game.
- As teens play the game, they progress through multiple animal challenges. In order to make it to the next l challenge, the player must complete all six difficulty levels. Players will have the option to go back and revisit previous stages as many times as they like either for fun, or to beat their score.
