Founder of Studio Pepwuper, Brandon Wu, took his influence for the game from children’s story books, inspirational comic characters, and a trip to London, where the game is set. His vision was to create something unique - away from violent games and the limited genres that exist within the gaming world for casual gamers.“I wanted to create something that my wife and mother would enjoy playing. I want to change the view that video games are violent and mind-numbing,” Wu says.
In his quest to demonstrate to non-gamers that video games can be a serious form of entertainment - that is, on par with TV, movies, and books, he concentrated on creating a story and character-driven casual game. The final result includes the following features:
