Tanuki Entertainment Levels Up With Their First Kickstarter Campaign

LvLn (short for “leveling”) is an 16-bit retro style game about ninjas, knights, wizards, pirates and dragons where players can slay hundreds of unique monsters, defeats epic bosses and pillage as much treasure as they can carry - all in a matter of seconds.

“LvLn is about using your smartphone to be entertained, FAST.  Because the focus of the game is rapidly leveling your character – we stripped away all the boring and annoying parts and made the game as simple as possible so players can be looting monsters and leveling their fighters in seconds.” said Jerry Pritchard, Executive Producer of Tanuki Entertainment.  “We have 4 playable characters – one a ninja, another a dragon and 23 stages with 8 Uber bosses to hack and slash through.  We’ve also built dozens of achievements and goodies for players to unlock.  We want our players to always have some fun way to interact with the game.”

“Regardless of how people are spending their days, they are always busy.  And while their time is valuable, they still want to be entertained.  The goal of Tanuki Entertainment is to provide a family friendly entertainment experience for people where they can jump right in while waiting in line for coffee or sitting on the bus.”

The Kickstarter campaign aims to net $30,000 from fans of RPGs, board games, casual games and anyone interested in fast and lighthearted bites of fantasy entertainment.

“We are realistic with our tier costs and rewards.  We are offering compelling rewards at each of the tiers and the tiers range from $5 - $50.” said Pritchard.

LvLn will be available on iOS and Android devices in 2013.
