Gfinity London will play host to two world class professional level tournaments, finally pitting the best Call of Duty and League of Legends gamers in Europe and North America into thrilling team competition for a $110K prize pool – the biggest in UK eSports history.
Looking to revamp eSports in the UK, this will be VIP invitational event held in an undisclosed venue in central London. But spectators can watch Gfinity’s 18 hand-picked elite teams battle it out live on Twitch.tv starting on Saturday 13th July with two epic grand finals taking place on Sunday 14th July.
The Call of Duty tournament will feature 10 popular teams from Europe and North America including: All Authority, Complexity and the ever dominating EnVyU in blistering round robin group stages on Saturday followed by a elimination knock out stage and epic final to see who will take home the glory and lion’s share of a $55k COD prize pool.
The League of Legends action will be just as intense as 8 of Europe and North America’s top teams including Team Dignitas UK, Anexis eSports and Curse Academy clash over their own $55k prize pool.
