Regensburg, 27 July 2010— CipSoft releases a new high resolution client for its mobile MMORPG called TibiaME. The new client supports all Symbian S60v5 operated devices.
“We already planned to create a new client in order to fully support devices with bigger screen resolutions,” explains Ben Zuckerer, product manager for TibiaME.“However in order to really make it look great on bigger screens, we decided to completely redraw all of our content as well.” In addition, the new client offers full touch screen support and can be used both in portrait and landscape mode.
Regardless of the installed client (Symbian S60v3, S60v5 or a java client) all players can still login to the same game worlds but only the S60v5 client sports the new high resolution look at the moment. However, the S60v3 will follow shortly so players with older devices are able to enjoy the overhauled graphics as well.
As already announced earlier this year, CipSoft is developing an iPhone client for TibiaME as well. The submission is planned for 1. September 2010. The iPhone client will be distributed for free in the AppStore.
