Total relaxation is a click away with ‘Cosy Fire’

dtp young entertainment press release for December 02, 2010

When it is raining and the low temperatures are no enticement to leave the house, many of us just want to snuggle in front of a warming open fire. But we don’t all have a real fireplace, so dtp young entertainment have created the perfect solution in the WiiWare™ title ‘Cosy Fire’. Players can recreate a cozy cottage feeling at home by downloading it via the Wii Shop Channel.

Hamburg, Germany – December 02, 2011 – A lovely, mellow atmosphere can now pervades every living room with ‘Cosy Fire’ on the WiiWare service. Wii™ users have a variety of logs and wood to choose from and can stack them up using the Wii Remote™ controller. When you strike a match, the room will be filled with a comforting crackling sound and you will now have to stoke the fire and keep adding more logs as you would in real life so that it does not die down and keeps burning. If you are looking for total relaxation, more wood will automatically be placed on the fire in the ‘Butler mode’. You can also select ‘Non-stop mode’ where the logs do not burn down, so you never have to add new ones to the fire.

‘Cosy Fire’ also provides visual warmth: six different fireplaces are available, from rustic to classic to Zen fireplace styles. The realistic and soothing fireside sounds also serve to enhance the snug atmosphere.

Features

  • Six types of fire: fire alone, campfire, rustic, classic, elegant and Zen fireplaces
  • Cozy fireside sounds
  • Realistic physics simulation with PhysX® by NVIDIA Technology
  • Four different modes:

Butler – logs are automatically placed on the fire

Non-stop – logs never burn down

Standard – a ready-made fire in any of the six available fireplaces

Individual – players select the logs and place them on the hearth

  • Supports the languages English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Dutch
