Train2game adds mobile devices to its unique portfolio

Date: Train2Game has launched two new courses in Apps development, maintaining its position at the forefront of videogames development qualifications in the UK and across the globe. The latest courses, App Development and App Production , provide training with leading Apps development platforms including: iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8.

Accredited by TIGA, and supported by TIGA’s advisory board, the new courses are unique to Train2Game and use a training model that has been created to teach game development and specifically App creation within the learning experience. Students are given training in Apps creation but also given a wider understanding of games development, and taught skills which are transferable to other industries and business sectors.

Dr Jan Telensky,  Train2Game, said: “At this current time Apps development is a really exciting area in videogames design, the future is so colourful for Apps. Train2Game is now offering new students the skills to gain future employment in another growth sector of the overall industry.

As is the case with our other courses the skills gained can be for games, but in the case of Apps the skills can also be applied to making Apps  for local businesses,  through to musicians and festivals.”
