Munich, Germany 24 March 2011 - Munich-based browser-game developer Travian Games has been working all out over recent weeks to roll out the fully-revised fourth incarnation of its evergreen success Travian . All the scheduled servers have now started and it is time for an initial assessment. Travian Games set itself some very ambitious goals with the Travian 4 rollout, and this is borne out by the rollout statistics:
In nearly 30 days, 40 language versions were started in 50 countries worldwide; over 2 million users found their way to the server since the middle of February and over 200,000 members joined the official Travian fan page on facebook - hardly any other browser game can boast such an active and rapidly-growing community.
There is no end in sight for the growing user figures, with more server starts planned for several countries, as the premium servers have barely been able to keep up with the user onslaught. Additional versions have been started in Germany, Turkey and France to give new Travian fans a fair chance of enjoying the Travian 4 experience.
Florian Bohn, CEO of Travian Games assesses this resounding success as follows: "Generating these kinds of figures is a significant milestone in our company history. But our employees worked very hard to achieve these results with intense effort on localising the new language versions so that users around the world could enjoy the fourth version of Travian as soon as possible. This spectacular achievement would not have been possible without the untiring commitment of everybody involved - for which I am extremely grateful. This phenomenal start shows that quality will continue to prevail on the market and our team is committed in the long term to provide players with lots of fun and new ideas in Travian 4."
