UBISOFT® ANNOUNCES DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT FOR R.U.S.E.TM: THE CHIMERA PACK

London, UK— January 19 th, 2011— Today, Ubisoft announced that downloadable content for R.U.S.E., called  The Chimera Pack, will be available on Xbox Live®, PlayStation Network® and Steam® starting on January 19 th 2011.

The Chimera Pack offers new challenges, including three exclusive multiplayer maps and three exclusive solo operations. This new content will provide a change of scenery and breathe new life into both multiplayer and solo skirmishes.

The three exclusive solo challenges will include:

Bir Hakeim: Your army will be driven into the Libyan Desert, where the Free French Forces resisted the Axis Advance in 1942

Medjez:  1943, take command of the Afrikakorps in Tunisia, face pincer movements from the British Army and the Free French Forces

Zapad Operation:  1947, team up with a friend and fight alongside the Soviet army against the American imperialists when a border incident in Germany spills over into nuclear war

The three new multiplayer maps are as follows:

Blood and Sand

Djebel

Nuclear winter

R.U.S.E. was released on September 10 th, 2010, on Xbox® 360, Sony Playstation® 3 and Windows PC.

R.U.S.E. is a one-of-a-kind real-time strategy game that allows players to bluff their enemies to lead their nation to victory, controlling the action using views that range seamlessly from the heart of the battlefield to the full theatre of war.  Players will be plunged into the action thanks to the exclusive IRISZOOMTM Engine which offers an intuitive interface that allows for smooth, rapid transitions from a birds-eye view of the entire conflict, down into the heat of the battle and vice versa.
