13 th August 2012 – Cologne, Germany – The UK Industry trade stand at GDC Europe, managed by Ukie, opens its doors for business at the two day Expo.

The Game Developers Conference (GDC) has established itself as the must attend show for developers looking to expand their knowledge base, grow their business connections and overseas trade.

UK Interactive Entertainment (Ukie) is managing the UKTI industry trade stand at GDC to promote the UK as the best place to develop and publish games and interactive entertainment.

Ukie CEO, Jo Twist, commented “GDC Europe is a fantastic chance to show the rest of Europe, and the world the best of the UK industry. We know businesses need to be able to network and promote their great work at the show and it made sense for Ukie to bring these companies together on one stand through our partnership with UKTI. Anyone who is interested in finding out more about the opportunities in the UK or working with great UK companies should make their way to our stand to say hello.”
