Ukie has announced its new packages to help UK games business attend this year’s Game Developers Conference (GDC) San Francisco and Game Connection America as part of the UK industry presence on the GDC Expo floor.
The new packages give companies the chance to exhibit in the main Expo at GDC for as little as £2000, or for free if they qualify for a UKTI grant, by booking early. The UK industry stand at GDC will provide space for businesses to demo and hold meetings. Ukie is also offering a special rate for UK companies who want to attend Game Connection.

Ukie is also the UKTI accredited trade body for the UK games industry. This means Ukie can help SMEs to attend overseas events under UKTI’s Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP), providing a limited number of grants of up to £2000 that can be used across both GDC and Game Connection for exhibition costs.
As part of a further partnership, Ukie members will also be able to take advantage of an exclusive offer for currency conversion through Halo Financial. On top of 0% commission, Halo Financial are offering no transfer fees on any currency transfer above $2000, which is better than bank commission rates.
