Unity Technologies Expands Global Operations With Appointments of New Vice President and Director of Development

San Francisco, CA – May 2nd, 2012 – Unity Technologies, provider of the Unity multi-platform engine and development tools, today announced the appointments of industry veterans Elliott Solomon as Vice President of North America Videogaming and Erik Juhl as Director of Development.

Elliott Solomon serves as Vice President Videogaming, overseeing the business development team as well as Unity’s resellers, Field Engineers and Evangelists in the Americas, and will work out of the San Francisco headquarters. With more than a decade of experience taking digital media and technology companies to internationally recognized market leadership, Solomon has expertise in new business development, strategic management and partnership negotiation. He has held executive roles at gaming, tech and investment companies including Disney Interactive Media Group, RealNetworks and Intellectual Capital.

Erik Juhl, game development veteran, has joined as Director of Development and will be based out of Unity’s Copenhagen office.  He will provide oversight for development, bringing over 17 years of experience in software engineering leadership and cross platform technologies.  With almost a decade of that experience in interactive entertainment, covering PC and console, MMO and sports titles, Erik previously held the position of Executive Director of Engineering at WB Turbine and has led development at both Midway and Electronic Arts in North America.
