Universally Speaking expands team

Universally Speaking, the leading localisation and QA company, has announced the expansion of their business development team with a key new hire.

Richard Sturgess joins the company as business development manager. His previous roles have included managing trade advertising for GamesIndustry.biz and also for Future Publishing’s Edge magazine. This follows on the back of Daniel Dring being appointed as business development executive.

Richard will manage all commercial and business development activity for Universally Speaking, one of the leading providers of specialist games services to the global games sector. Universally Speaking’s enviable client list includes the industry's largest publishers and they have localised thousands of games across all platforms and genres.

"Universally Speaking has great presence in the market place and I'm looking forward to working with their existing client base whilst also introducing the full suite of services to new clients. Universally Speaking’s focus on delivering the highest results to deadline while being competitively priced is paramount to the company’s success and these key strengths are core to our ongoing development," said Sturgess.

Vickie Peggs, Universally Speaking’s managing director, said: "It is with great pleasure we welcome Richard to the Universally Speaking team. The industry connections and sales experience he brings to the business will help drive our exciting plans for world domination in the future. This key appointment is the latest in our ongoing expansion.”
