METAVERSAL STUDIOS SUBMITS UPDRAFT JACK BURNING SANDS UPDATE, NEW HD VERSION TO APP STORE

Brighton, MA—Game developer Metaversal Studios is pleased to announce two big additions to their iOS game Updraft Jack have been submitted to the iTunes App Store. The Burning Sands update brings a mysterious new desert world to explore. Run and glide through ancient ruins half-buried in the shifting desert sands and avoid new enemies and dangers. The update also brings two new unlockable costumes to the game:  Explorer and Mummy.

“We know our players will love dashing through the Burning Sands world,” said Matt Sughrue, VP of Product Development.  “It’s got all new sights, sounds, music and enemies, and brings a whole new atmosphere to the game.”

Metaversal is also releasing a new HD version of the game for the iPad and iPad 2.

“We’ve had a lot of requests from players for a native iPad version of the game,” said Sughrue. “Updraft Jack HD is bright, beautiful and has all of the original and expanded content of the iPhone/iPod Touch version on a much bigger screen.”

Metaversal Studios plans to continue supporting and expanding the game over the coming months with new costumes, worlds, and challenges.

Metaversal Studios is the developer of numerous games for iOS and Android, including chart-topping Entertainment app Shave Me!, with over 6 million downloads across both platforms; Bad Apples, a puzzle game with over 1.6 million downloads, and Battle Harvest, the Bad Apples sequel that was chosen by Apple as an App Store “New and Noteworthy” release.
