Wine Tycoon, JOYWID’s Social Network Game

Expected to become popular with easy control

(2010/12/00, Seoul, Korea)– JOYWID (Hyun-Shik Shin, CEO), a middle-sized game developer in Korea, released Wine Tycoon.

Wine Tycoon is a tycoon game of cultivating grapes, producing and selling wine. The game is expected to attract popularity amongst the general public with interest in wines. It is also evaluated to appeal to users in their early 10s to early 20s with a theme differentiated from existing tycoon games.

Wine Tycoon is comprised of three simple main games. It proceeds with three organic actions of grape cultivation, wine production and wine sales, and users can use the network to exchange and sell grapes that are materials of the wines.

Also, a user can select one of three villages in the game, where each village produces and sells different wine for diversity and entertainment.

Yet, the game is currently serviced through the Korean telecommunication company, LG Telecom, as a version without network support. The EX version will be simultaneously released with COM2US in early-2011 through the Big 3 telecommunication companies in Korea. It is also scheduled for development as a smart phone application.


JOYWID is a Korean developer company specializing in developing mobile games, mobile contents and smart TV games. It is currently developing SNG games based on its development technology and differentiated creativity, and also preparing services of various platforms. Consequently to converting the mobile game‘Pit-A-Pat Puzzle’ into a game for iPhone in November 2009, it has also recently released‘Technique of Graduation Season 2’.
