XtendPlay™ Powers World-Record-Holder Stallion83 to 700,000G

VENICE, CA April 2, 2012—In the world of Xbox LIVE Gamerscore, one gamer has held dominion for the last six years.  Pursuing his goal of reaching 1,000,000 Gamerscore by racking up Achievements within Xbox 360 games, Ray “Stallion83” Cox drew the attention of XtendPlay ( www.xtendplay.com) manufacturer Xwerx in late 2010 when he hit the halfway mark of 500,000G.

"We were a couple of months away from releasing XtendPlay for Xbox 360 and PlayStation when the news broke of Ray’s accomplishment," said Dave Sparling, XtendPlay co-creator and Xwerx CEO.  “So we reached out to him, the pitch quite simple:  use XtendPlay and you’ll go from 500K to 1,000,000 faster and with less strain on your fingers and hands than it took you to get from 0 to 500K.  He agreed to test drive the 360 version and it’s been indispensable to his gaming reality ever since.”

Cox, who defies the stereotype of the sedentary, solitary gamer by virtue of a rigorous fitness regimen and a long-time relationship with his live-in girlfriend, was acknowledged by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010 for having the World’s Highest Xbox LIVE Gamerscore.  Nevertheless, his goal of hitting 1,000,000G means that a good chunk of his waking hours are spent in the company of his several Xbox 360 consoles.

Having contemplated the likelihood that he’d see his Gamerscore surpassed shortly after hitting the halfway mark to his goal, due to gaming-related issues in both wrists, Cox readily admits that XtendPlay and its patented TrueControl™ technology has enabled him to stay at #1.  "I've been gaming since I was 3 and have never been more one with the controller than I am today, because of XtendPlay. My goal of hitting 1,000,000 Gamerscore has been a challenge, but it got easier the day I started using XtendPlay. It helps me play longer and better than ever before, allowing me to rack up game completions and Gamerscore more efficiently,” Cox said.

As he does when he hits every 100,000-point Gamerscore milestone, Cox published a video to commemorate his being the first gamer on the planet to push Gamerscore past 700,000:   http://youtu.be/YIFMqIXDghg

Cox and a crew of his elite Gamerscore contemporaries publish the Gamerscore Popcast podcast, a weekly roundup of all things Gamerscore and Xbox.

XtendPlay currently retails for $14.99 in the U.S.A via www.xtendplay.com and Amazon.com and is widely available throughout Europe via www.limexb360.co.uk and Amazon.co.uk and in Japan at Rakuten Ichiba.  The product will soon be available in Australia and New Zealand.
