· YouTube puts its name to brand new category – The YouTube Gamer Award
· Livestream of ceremony hosted on the HMV GamesMaster Golden Joystick Awards channel
The HMV GamesMaster Golden Joystick Awards today announces YouTube, the world’s most popular online video community, as an official partner.
The tie-up sees YouTube sponsor a brand new category, The YouTube Gamer Award, whilst also promoting and hosting a livestream of the event itself.
Voted for by gamers on the HMV GamesMaster Golden Joystick Awards channel, the new category will recognise the biggest and best gaming video creators on YouTube. Nominees for the award are: Yogscast , TheSyndicateProject , Total Biscuit , AtheneWins , Matroix and InTheLittleWood .
