ZiGGURAT offers Real-Life Rewards for In-Game Achievements through Gimmie

26th of April 2012 – Freshùu and Gimmie announce a multi-game partnership through which Freshùu will be able to offer real-life rewards, such as free physical goods and gift coupons, for achievements earned in all games it publishes, by relying on the recently unveiled Gimmie network. The first app to propose the service to gamers is none other than critically acclaimed ZiGGURAT. Gimmie has been switched on in ZiGGURAT through a free update available in the AppStore as of last night. ZiGGURAT players receive push notifications whenever they earn Gimmie points. They can then head to the Gimmie Store to redeem them and collect gifts, from either the settings page or the game over scream screen.

From now on, it pays to be The Last Human on Earth. Those bravely surviving the End of the Universe for slightly longer than everybody else will earn themselves socks and underwear from ManPacks, luxury headphones by Fanny Wang,  mens luxury bags and backpacks by KillSpencer, set-up boxes by PopCornHour and oh so much more.

"There are two things editors and critics agree upon when it comes to ZiGGURAT: one, it is excellent; and two, it is tough as nails. I couldn't think of a better fit to introduce the Gimmie service to the gaming community. You really have to break a sweat to unlock these achievements – Which means you'll actually deserve the rewards you'll earn", stated Pascal Clarysse, chief creative at Freshùu.

"ZiGGURAT is definitely a gamer's game, so we're looking forward to hear what the hardcorest of the hardcore community have to say about our Gimmie platform", added Gimmie CEO, David Ng.
