Zing Games presented at Big Indie Pitch during Game Developers Conference

Press Release

San Francisco, CA -  Zing Games Inc., a newly established independent game developer, presented two of its upcoming games at Big Indie Pitch during Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, CA.

The Big Indie Pitch event allowed a dozen pre-selected indie developers to show off their upcoming games to the press, in a speed dating setting where developers rotated around to different tables.

Zing Games brought two of its upcoming games, Mr. Runner 2: The Masks and App Icon Quiz, to the event.

Mr. Runner 2 is a sequel to Mr. Runner, a #1 free game with over 5 million downloads.  It is a simple yet fun side scrolling running game with unique art style, many collectible items, and a lot of references to pop culture icons and classic games in the 1980s and 1990s.

App Icon Quiz is an innovative quiz game in which the player needs to look at an app icon image and guess what the app is about without being given the name and description of the app.  It can be used as an icon testing tool by game designers to get a better understanding of how players view their app icon, whether they like it, and how they interpret it.  App Icon Quiz can also help developers promote their apps in a fun way – gamification of app promotion.
