Zombie Minesweeper: A Love Story Comes to iPhone and iPad

VANCOUVER, Canada, August 2nd – Independent developer Frogtoss Games has announced that Zombie Minesweeper: A Love Story is exploding on the iPhone and iPad on August 9th, 2011. For the first time, gamers are able to experience a love story in a minefield fraught with woodland zombies vying for their brains.

Zombie Minesweeper: A Love Story is the puzzle / adventure for iPhone and iPad wherein players guide a snarky heroine through zombie animal infested minefields to meet her boyfriend for a romantic getaway. On the way, players decode the minefield to flag and avoid mines, uncover powerups and blast hundreds of pursuing zombies.

“By adding adventure and story elements to the proven puzzle mechanic of Minesweeper, Zombie Minesweeper: A Love Story fills a long standing demand gamers have had for a richer mobile experience,” said Michael Labbé, Studio Head of Frogtoss Games.

With over 30 levels, 14 zombies and a cast of terrified humans, Zombie Minesweeper: A Love Story is the ultimate escape.

Zombie Minesweeper: A Love Story builds on the award-winning mechanic in the fan favorite Kongregate title “Zombie Minesweeper” released in 2010.
