Atari to bring Gunpey to Europe

The new iteration of classic handheld puzzler Gunpey is coming to DS and PSP in Europe this March, courtesy of Atari.

The puzzle game, which is named after the deceased Game Boy designer Gunpei Yokoi, is developed by Lumines and Meteos studio Q Entertainment. Gameplay involves matching up rows of panels to connect lines that travel up the screen.

In typical Q Entertainment style, music is also an important part of the title with in-game action altering the musical composition.

Both the DS and PSP versions include wireless head to head play, and there are also a host of specific modes and features that will be exclusive to each.
