Bioshock shoots for August

After Bioshock's gory trailer got gamer's FPS juices flowing last year, 2K Games has confirmed that its stylish first person shooter will not arrive in the US until August 21st.

Though no European release date has yet been announced, it is likely to be around the same time – possibly on the following Friday (August 24th).

Bioshock had previously been given a June release date in the UK, but the extra development time will no doubt give developer Irrational Games the chance to further enhance its already eerie title.
