Resident Evil shuffles onto Wii

Nintendo has stepped forward to act as the distributor for two of Capcom’s upcoming titles – Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.

And fans of the series will be delighted to hear that the updated version of the critical and commercial smash Resident Evil 4 – which will boast a new control scheme specifically designed for the Wii remote – is to be released on June 29th.

In addition, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is also slated for a 2007 release. The game, which also boasts Wii-specific controls, will take players on a tour of locations featured in Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 as well as a selection of brand new settings.
