Autumn release for Eye of Judgement

Eye of Judgement, Sony’s debut PS3 EyeToy title, will arrive worldwide this autumn, the company has confirmed via its Japanese website.

The game, which is vaguely reminiscent of the 3D chess board that famously appeared on the Millennium Falcon in 1977 sci-fi flick Star Wars, will utilise both the new PS3 camera, a special card deck and a play mat, all of which will be included with the title.

Eye of Judgement sees players placing cards on the designated playing surface. Via the EyeToy, the PS3 is able to recognise each card, and animates the on-screen action accordingly.

The exact European price and date are yet to be announced.
