Ubi unveils new Prince of Persia titles

A new Prince of Persia will be swinging onto next generation consoles this year, alongside a separate SKU scheduled for Nintendo DS.

No name or details have been revealed, except for the fact it is being developed by the same Ubisoft Montreal team that worked on The Sands of Time trilogy.

According to the press statement: “The game is poised to rejuvenate the action-adventure genre in addition to introducing a brand-new illustrative art style.”

Prince of Persia on DS is said to make use of the consoles unique functionality, and also boasts an entirely different storyline and new characters.
