ATARI LIVE: Tekken 6 to hit Europe in autumn 2009

Atari has announced it will be publishing Namco’s Tekken 6 in Europe next autumn. The release date was one of a number of announcements revealed at the publisher’s event yesterday in London.

Tekken 6 will be the first in the series to be released across multiple platforms, ending its 14 year history as a PlayStation exclusive. As confirmed at this year’s Tokyo Games Show, the game will be published on PS3 and Xbox 360.

To date, the franchise has sold more than 33 million units.
