BRIDGING the gap between Lords of Shadow and its upcoming sequel, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate takes players into a dark brooding adventure filled with zombies, werewolves and characters dealing with daddy issues.
Mirror of Fate takes place 25 years after the events of Lords of Shadow and follows the son of Gabriel Belmont.
Focusing on a family dispute worthy of an hour-long episode of EastEnders, the game sees Trevor Belmont set out to avenge his mother’s death. She was killed at the hands of her husband, leaving Trevor no choice but go after his own father who is now a vamp named Dracula.
Gamers play as various characters, each with different abilities, who will take on Dracula in his castle across various time periods.
Skeleton soldiers, zombies and giant winged rat monsters are practically queuing up to make life difficult.
Mirror of Fate will appeal to fans of the franchise that want to check out the first Castlevania title available in 3D, and looks the perfect appetite whetter for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.
