Console gamers are finally catching up with the PC lot who grabbed the Prepare to Die Edition of Dark Souls in August.
The enhanced version of the game, which sees an additional ten hours of bonus content for dedicated gamers to experience, will include an upgraded player vs player mode that allows fans to organise one-on-one battles with each other online.
An additional chapter has been created to expand on the core lore of the game’s main story 100 years before Dark Souls.
‘Artorias of the Abyss,’ will include new areas to explore, new enemies to slay and even more controller breaking bosses to encounter.
Gamers who already own the original Dark Souls can also pick up the additional content, which is included in the Prepare to Die Edition, in a special DLC pack which will be made available on October 24th.
SOUL DESTROYING
Dark Souls sold over 120,000 units in the UK and achieved a Metacritic score of 89. It quickly became a fan afavourite for the hardcore, who enjoy its tough survival gameplay and rock hard boss battles.
It’s a perfect stocking filler for patient gamers, who’ve been holding back for the extra content.
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition arrives for both Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 26th.
