Fans of Dead Rising 2 can now experience zombie hotspot Fortune City through the eyes of Frank West, hero of the first game, in this new release.
The original Dead Rising was met with positive reviews upon its arrival in 2006. Introducing new hero Chuck Greene for the sequel continued this success; Dead Rising 2 has sold 2.2 million units as of February this year.
Off The Record’s brand new storyline provides players with fresh missions and more twisted enemies in new environments teaming with hoards of the living dead.
Gamers also now have the freedom to roam Fortune City without any time constraints in the new Sandbox Mode. This even offers a co-op feature, as well as a series of challenges. Examples include ‘Rooftop Massacre’, testing how many zombies a player can kill in 30 seconds, and ‘Chug Chug Chug’, which sees how much alcohol gamers can drink in three minutes.
Throw in Off the Record’s technical updates and Frank West’s return as the Dead Rising lead is sure to be a successful one.
