After the original Pokémon Black and White enthralled over 14 million players, Nintendo has strived to raise the bar with this brand new adventure in the Unova region.
Pokémon Black & White 2 is set two years after the 2011 originals, with players once again searching the world for catchable critters that can be trained up to battle rival trainers.
They will also have to compete against both new and classic gym leaders. Every gym has a brand new puzzle design and music remix to enjoy, ensuring fresh content from Black & White veterans.
The developers have also renovated various areas of the game, making sure that every detail is even more vibrant and eye-catching than the originals.
With the expanded online modes, players will have access to data that allows them to battle with the top players and their teams from the 2012 Pokémon Video Game World Championships.
As well as this, Pokémon from Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver can be sent to the Black and White 2 games via Poké Transfer.
Another new feature on Black and White 2 is Join Avenue, a feature that lets players communicate with fellow fans they have met through Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. As new people enter the Avenue, they will be able to open up shops such as the Beauty Salon and the Mart after they have spoken with another player’s avatar.
While we wait for the first true entry in the Pokémon series to arrive on Nintendo’s 3DS console, this sequel of the best-selling DS duo will keep millions of Nintendo fans busy.
