Following on from their latest console hit Travel in Time, the Raving Rabbids make their debut on 3DS.
As with their previous title, the mad creatures are trying to take over the world in several different time periods. But instead of the usual mini-games, the action shifts towards platforming for the first time in the series.
Players must guide the Rabbids through challenging environments, with settings ranging from the prehistoric age and ancient Egypt to the time of Napoleon and the Three Musketeers.
The franchise’s slapstick humour is present throughout with the Rabbids causing nothing short of chaos wherever – and, whenever – they go.
There’s plenty of challenge to be had in Rabbids 3D with three different scenarios. Aside from the main Story mode, players can revisit levels in Time Attack or take on objectives in Challenge mode.
As they progress through the game, players can unlock up to 40 historical costumes, which they can use to customise their Rabbids.
Given the popularity of the Raving Rabbids franchise, expect this to be a strong seller among a younger audience come launch.
