Set in Europe during the winter of 1198, The Cursed Crusade takes players on a journey across a war-torn landscape.
Gamers will have to step into the shoes of two adventurers, Denz the Holy Templar and Esteban the mercenary, as they attempt to survive the Fourth Crusade and save themselves from a curse that threatens to engulf their souls.
Players can fight their way through 40 missions in this action RPG with a friend in the co-op campaign mode. This spans across five locations and features 10 real characters from history. There are also 16 fighting styles and over 130 weapons to wield. And with every successful battle comes victory points that can be used to evolve and enhance a player’s character.
“We feel we’ve found a niche in a crowded market and the extensive PR and marketing activity that we’re proposing around release will help The Cursed Crusade stand up and be counted,”?says Mastertronic’s group sales director James Cato.
A London Underground poster campaign will be backed by six-sheet outdoor ads in London, Birmingham and Manchester, as well as ads online and in print.
