As the offical video game for the 2011 FIA World Rally Championships, petrolheads can look forward to driving every rally of this year’s tournament – complete with all the drivers and teams.
As the latest in the WRC?series, WRC 2 boasts 90 stages, as well as 25 different weather variations for an extra challenge.
“Milestone has put its large experience of driving games into providing a rally experience that is both realistic and fun,” says Ombeline Wallon, Ubisoft’s UK brand manager.
“The authenticity and depth of content, combined with the quality of the physics will make the game credible and appealing to rally fans and racing fans in general.”
Thanks to a new five-second rewind feature, if a gamer takes a turn too quickly, they can go back to a safer time to give themselves a second try.
With an enhanced Career Mode, 16-player online multiplayer and other special stages, WRC 2 has everything a rally fan will want.
Marketing Maneuvres
The game will be promoted as part of an online campaign covering key gaming websites and video-on- demand channels. Activity will also take place at this year’s Wales Rally GB event.
