Attack on Titan 3DS game is coming to the West

Spike Chunsoft’s 3DS adaptation of the hit Attack on Titan manga is getting a western translation.

Atlus is handling the publishing responsibilities for the game in Europe and America, with a release currently pencilled in for May. It will be known in the West as Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains. The indications are that it will be a digital only release.

The game was originally released in Japan in late 2013 under the name AoT: Humanity in Chains. This new version will support the c-stick found on the New 3DS, which can be used for camera control.

The game itself is a third person action title with both a single player campaign and multiplayer co-op.

Attack on Titan first emerged as a manga in 2009 and has grown into a popular print series. It has also gone on to spawn a popular Japanese anime, as well as a live-action film. It is becoming increasingly popular in the West.
