Uncooked ditches print version of GAMER, makes brand digital-only

The current physical issue of GAMER magazine will be the last.

Bournemouth’s Uncooked Media has announced its intention to shift the brand online, focusing on its interactive GAMER app that launched in February.

By focusing on GAMER Interactive we can embrace new opportunities, such as creating one-off specials on a certain game or franchise, ultimately building up into a back catalogue of issues that our readers can dip in and out of depending on what the game of the day is,” GAMER Interactive editor Ian Collen said.

It also frees us up to get more involved in digital media – which means getting our readers even more involved wherever we can and generally becoming a wider and more accessible home for all of their gaming needs.”

The GAMER Interactive app is free on iPad, Google Play, Amazon and Windows 8 tablets.
