2K ‘assessing role of Venom’

2K Games has responded to rumours that its only UK studio, Venom Games, is to close – saying that while no final decision has been made, it is indeed considering redundancies at the developer.

In an official statement, a Take-Two representative said: "We are assessing the role of Venom Games in Take-Two’s overall global studio system and are in a consultation with the employees of Venom in relation to possible redundancies at the studio."

"No final decision will be made until after the consultation with employees," it concluded.
