Access Games details D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die for PC

The first official details on the PC version of Hidetaka ‘Swery65′ Suehiro’s D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die have been revealed by developer Access Games.

There have been quite a few changes from the Xbox One version, not least of which is the removal of Kinect controls and the addition of mouse support – with all the QTEs changed accordingly.

There have also been some in-game tweaks such as altered item placements and the ability to acquire free costumes. Plus, there will be the usual PC settings options such as resolution switching and V-sync. Previous Xbox-only features such as Xbox Live leaderboard support will now instead work with Steam.

60fps should apparently be possible using the recommended settings, which require an Intel i7 4770k (3.5GHz) or equivalent and either a GTX 670 or a Radeon HD 7850, along with 8GB of RAM.

The studio has also revealed that the game, which starred in January’s Games with Gold promotion, has to date been downloaded 1.3m times on Xbox One.

The PC version was announced by Swery earlier this week. A release date isn’t yet known.
